Embrace Summer at Our Social Event, Saturday, July 29, 4 pm This event will again be at Shamaine and Rick Rustad’s barn, 4154 Flannery Lake Road. No fall chili cook off this year. Instead, bring your favorite summer dish-to-pass--salad, casserole, or dessert; beverage of your choice; lawn chairs, and your guests so you can join lake neighbors for this event.
It’s spring in the Northwoods. The loons, geese, eagles, and song birds are back, so it is nearing time for the Flannery/Velvet Lake Association annual meeting. This meeting will be held on the Saturday morning of Memorial Day weekend, (May 27), at Rustad’s barn, 4154 Flannery Lake Road, at 10 a.m. Bring your lawn chair and find out what’s going on with the lakes this year.
