It’s spring in the Northwoods. The loons, geese, eagles, and song birds are back, so it is nearing time for the Flannery/Velvet Lake Association annual meeting. This meeting will be held on the Saturday, May 24th at 1pm of Memorial Day weekend, at the Town of Newbold Hall on HWY 47N. Come gather with your neighbors find out what’s going on with the lakes this year.
Embrace Summer at Our Social Event, Saturday, July 29, 4 pm This event will again be at Shamaine and Rick Rustad’s barn, 4154 Flannery Lake Road. No fall chili cook off this year. Instead, bring your favorite summer dish-to-pass--salad, casserole, or dessert; beverage of your choice; lawn chairs, and your guests so you can join lake neighbors for this event.
